Demetrius Lambrinos is an experienced trial attorney with more than eighteen years of experience representing businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. His practice includes commercial disputes, real estate disputes, antitrust litigation, intellectual property matters, employment claims, class actions, and business-related litigation across a wide range of industries.
Throughout his career, Demetrius has conducted more than two hundred depositions and achieved multiple successful trial victories as first-chair counsel. His experience includes representing the California State Teachers’ Retirement System in a contract dispute exceeding $100 million and participating in nationwide antitrust litigation that resulted in a global settlement of approximately $1.4 billion. He has also worked closely with attorneys from the United States Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and the California Attorney General’s Office in antitrust matters.
Demetrius has extensive experience litigating matters involving California’s Corporations Code, Labor Code, Cartwright Act, Business and Professions Code section 17200, and the Lanham Act. His industry experience includes e-commerce, entertainment, sports, software, electronics, automotive components, insurance, healthcare, SaaS contracting, and construction defect litigation.
In addition to his legal practice, Demetrius is a published author and frequent speaker on litigation strategy, deposition preparation, and trial practice. He was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2010 and 2011 and a Super Lawyer from 2012 through 2016. He also served for ten years on the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Urban Debate League, helping raise more than $1 million for the organization, and currently serves as Executive Vice President of the PTA at Old Mill Elementary School.
